摘要： 公共交通与土地一体化开发是实现城市可持续发展的一项重要手段，地铁新市镇就是这一战略下的产物。依托轨道车站在城市外围发展的新市镇，不仅吸收了城市不断增长的人口，缓解了主城拥堵的局面，更是通过轨道交通实现了城市的有序扩张。文章通过对地铁新市镇功能、特征的分析，进一步阐述站城一体化开发模式对于地铁新市镇项目成功的重要性，强调了站城一体化开发涉及的两个层面的一体化。

Abstract: Integration of public transportation and land development is an important strategy to urban sustainable devel?opment, which lead to the rail-town. Depending on the mass transit railway,rail-town not only absorbs the growing pop?ulation and eases traffic jams in the city, but also helps the city expand orderly. This research analyses the functions and characters of the rail-town, expounds the importance of the integrated station-city development mode to the suc?cess of the rail-town.
